Happileigh Scrappin' Challenge #21


There is a new challenge over at Happileigh Scrappin' Challenges this week and as the Birthstone for May is the Emerald we would like to see an Emerald card or a Birthday Card. If you manage to incorporate the 2 you will get 2 entries into the challenge, how cool is that :)

I used the Colleen in Heart Dress digi which is available to purchase HERE

in the Girly Girls section at the Happileigh Scrappin' Store.


For my creation I started with a sketch from Eat, Sleep, Stamp for the layout and as I had already coloured the image in with Promarkers I set to work choosing papers to go with it. The base card is a pale green with the white and green flower paper by Dovecraft over it. The darker green paper is by Imaginisce. The lace has a thin green ribbon threaded through it and I used 3D foam to give some dimension to Colleen. The birthday banner sentiment is from my stash.

Remember, for our challenges you don't need to use a Happileigh Scrappin' image but if you do your entry counts twice and with freebies available here it is easy to use one of Leigh's fabulous digis.
