Tweet Birthday Gift


giveaway on her new Facebook Page to test the new store. I had been unable to keep up with the Free Stamp of the Month Challenge so this gave me the perfect opportunity to buy back in with this gorgeous image Tweet Birthday Gift.

She has also started some new card sketches at I {Heart} Card Sketches so of course I had to do use both the image and sketch together didn’t I?

I coloured my image using Promarkers and Flexmarkers but hadn’t planned on the papers I was going to use with it. When I went to my crafty room (which is so messy…. I have such a tiny area on my desk to work with it really needs a good tidy up!) I spied a pack of papers that The Crooked Stamper herself Leslie Hanna sent to me on a blog giveaway. There was this lovely yellow and a flowery blue, both perfect for this card.

A bit of ink distressing, punching, diecutting and recycling in the form of a blue grosgrain ribbon from one of those exhibition passes, and some Kraft cardstock from the inside of a tube of Christmas wrapping paper and this pretty card is done. It sort of made itself as all the elements came together and I made quite a CAS card compared to my normal style.

In other news I was very fortunate today to win a digi of my choice on Faith’s Facebook group for sharing my inspiration from a pair of ladies knickers. Just goes to prove that inspiration can come from the most strangest of places.

Materials Used in this card are as follows:-
Card Size – 6” square
Image – Tweet Birthday Gift by From The Heart
Paper – Possibly Stampin’ Up
Sentiment – Forever Friends Peel off stickers
Embellishments – Prima Flower, ribbon from exhibition pass, gem from Dovecraft
Tools – Letraset Promarkers & Flexmarkers, Small ink pad, Nestabilities die, Fiskars punch
Techniques – Distressing with inkpad, Diecutting, Punching

    That's too funny. The absolute next thing on my to do list is to get my post up for the Designed 2 Delight Jan challenge. I absolutely love how you coloured her up and the card turned out fantastic. I love that layout.
