Lady Anne's Christmas Progressive Challenge #1

Lady Anne is running a Christmas Progressive Freebie Challenge. I signed up for it and got 2 fabulous images from Crafting With Jack.

One was a Bethlehem image and as I do not like to use religious images I decided to opt for this traditional Candle Display. I didn’t like poinsettia very much but I the last year I have really enjoyed colouring them and making cards, see I open to change J

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers then cut it out very close to the image and mounted 3d foam squares.

I used sketch #5 from I {Heart} Sketches for the layout. The red card blank has been covered with a music score paper from a traditional Christmas pack Christmas Tidings by Papermania leaving a thin border of red showing.

For the circular element of the sketch I used a die to cut a doily out of gold card and threaded an offcut of dotty ribbon through it. The sentiment is from my ever faithful old Christmas stash and I added a candy cane epoxy sticker which I have had for many years.

I am very much looking forward to using the next images and I happy to see my pile of Christmas cards increasing J

Materials Used in this card are as follows:-

Card Size – A6
Image – Candle Display by Crafting With Jack
Paper – Christmas Tidings by Papermania
Embelishments – Ribbon, epoxy sticker, sentiment
Tools – Letraset Promarkers & Flexmarkers,, Nellie Multiframe Die

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges (in Alphabetical Order):-
