For You Mouse


Over at Delightful Inspiration From the Heart the progressive freebie image this month is this cutie For You Mouse holding a little flower. I have been going through my digi files on the computer in an attempt to create a better file structure and came across this sentiment (which is still a freebie) from Scribbles Designs and thought it would make a great thankyou card. The image has been coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and I printed a second layer to decoupage the head.


I used the latest sketch from I {Heart Sketches} for the layout and adapted it to fit a square card. The paper has encapsulated glitter on it and is a leftover from a previous card. I used some Kraft card which was recycled from the inside of a tube of wrapping paper to mat the image on. The little tabs are scraps of card in the flower colours. To this I have added some Queen & Co flower sequins I have had in my stash for 7 or 8 years and some little gem centres. The ribbon I have had for 4 or 5 years. This card is a great success in using scraps and stuff I have had for many, many years J

Materials Used in this Project are as follows:-
Card size – 6” Square
Image – For You Mouse by From The Heart
Sentiment – Freebie fro Scribbles Designs
Paper – Boho Chic First Edition pad
Tools – Letraset Promarkers & Flexmarkers, 3d foam pads
Embellishments – Ribbon, Queen & Co flower sequins, K & Co self adhesive gems
Techniques – Decoupage
