For my card I have used Oh Boy from My Heart Pieces. The image looks so much like my nephew I thought this would make a perfect card for his birthday in a few weeks time.

I have stayed with masculine greys and black but used a magenta pink and some purple as he is a bit 'alternative' and dies his hair pink, purple, you name it. He also has his bedroom decorated in this bright pink and black stripe so they are definitely his colours !

The image is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers with some silver gel pen accents on the belt and music player.

I have used a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches for the layout and covered the card base with a glittered paper from DCWV. I added some stripes of metallic cardstock behind the image and a trimmed down sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Card size – A5
Digi Image – On Boy from My Heart Pieces
Paper – DCWV
Sentiment – Craftwork Cards
Tools – Letraset Promarkers & Flexmarkers, gel pen

    Wow Mandy, this is just great...love the vibrant purple against the black...I would never have thought to use those colours on a masculine image like this. Great card to give or receive, and your colouring (as always) is amazing.
