Stampin' Up Workshop Trees

This is the 2^nd card I made at the Stampin’ Up workshop. I loved the set of trees and the simple graphic design of them. I did however have an absolutely nightmare when it came to the matching punch. There must be a knack to lining it up and I just didn’t have the patience for it LOL. I managed the outside 2 okay…ish but the centre one I just cut with scissors. I went with ‘the centre one can look different if it is balanced effect’  which I may have invented due to lack of patience and getting fiddly bits of card stuck in a punch…..

The base of the card has some spotty SU paper matted onto a strip of card.

The trees have been stamped first in green and then I layered a red centre onto each of them. The whole tree is raised on 3d foam. I used the little plantpot for the base od the tree and smudged the one from the right a little bit but the recipient didn’t notice so I was happy to get away with it J

Finally the sentiment at the top was part of a bigger sentiment stamp that I coloured using a Stampin’ Up marker.
