For this challenge I chose this lovely image Sally by Lil Diva
Stamps for
myself and Choccy to use. I love the clean lines and knew it would be perfect
to decoupage some of the image and have used bright colours and papers.
I have coloured my image with Promarkers and
Flexmarkers and created a second layer of the plantpot and the large flower. I
have stickles glitter glue to the pretty heart, plantpot and flower centres.
The image has been cut out with a Nestabilities die and I used the outside of
the die to cut a red mat to mount it on.
Both the patterned papers are from a Spring themed
Dovecraft paper pad and all plain cardstock except the base is from my scraps
box. I have it at the side of me when I am crafting and I find I use it much
more than I did before as I can see them all the time, it is my ‘go to’ box now
and I always try to use some scraps if at all possible J
To finish the card off I have used a sentiment recycled
from an old greetings card, some Prima flowers, buttons and gems recycled from
an old t-shirt.
