For this challenge Choccy chose this little witch Her Sexy Witcheness from Lil Diva Stamps to work with. Our DT teamie Eva had just used this design and her card was gorgeous so did something a little different by adding a few friends and creating a scene. I have added a few clip art bats, a cute little spider freebie from My Graphico and the little green eyed cat @ Jacquie’s.

I then coloured the image with Promarkers & Flexmarkers keeping to a traditional Halloween palette of purple & green. I cut the image out with an X Cut die and distressed around the edge with an ink pad.

The glittery papers are from My Minds Eye and I have layered onto some black card which has been punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. The spotty ribbon is self adhesive  from Docrafts.

The tag is was a freebie which I have coloured with my pens. I have used a star eyelet and some recycled ribbon from the loops on a new top. This is mounted on 3d foam for depth and last but not least I added some plastic spiders to crawl around the image.

For my card this week I have used this fun image Crusty Clown by Lil Diva to make a birthday card for my Brother in Law. He has a property and finance business and works very hard so I wanted to use this image with some buttons to denote him successfully juggling all his many projects.

I coloured the image with Promarkers &Flexmarkers picking out the colours from the papers I have used from Dovecraft. I have created 4 layers of decoupage and layered on 3d foam.
I used a sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for the layout and used a fine line pen to add faux stitches to the layers. There is a mixture of buttons from different sources and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards to finish off.

It was Choccy’s turn to choose an image for us to work with and it is a stamp pack called Fun In The Rain by Lil Diva Stamps. You get the image of the little boy in his wellies and a rainbow too. I chose to use the boy as it is raining so much in the UK at the moment it seemed very appropriate. We had the wettest April on record, then a drought in a lot of the country and then so much rain the drought was lifted….crazy crazy weather!

Anyhoo the image was of course coloured in with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and I used a Nestabilities die to cut the image and a red mat from scrap cardstock. I added a second layer for the cloud mounted on 3d foam.

Using a sketch from Crafting Life’s Pieces for the layout I added some lovely new papers from the Family Ties First Edition pad by Dovecraft. It has lots of fairly bright primary colours to match my image. Just because the weather is dreary it doesn’t mean my card has to be J

I added one of my most favourite ribbons with the lace trim to it and my absolute new favourite Cheery Lynn die. I snipped it to fit the card better and added some Prima flowers and small buttons. Finally I added some bunting cut from scraps and hanging from some Baker’s Twine with a handwritten message ‘Rain Rain Go Away’ a sentiment I am sure many of you will agree with.

For this challenge I chose this lovely image Sally by Lil Diva Stamps for myself and Choccy to use. I love the clean lines and knew it would be perfect to decoupage some of the image and have used bright colours and papers.

I have coloured my image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and created a second layer of the plantpot and the large flower. I have stickles glitter glue to the pretty heart, plantpot and flower centres. The image has been cut out with a Nestabilities die and I used the outside of the die to cut a red mat to mount it on.

Both the patterned papers are from a Spring themed Dovecraft paper pad and all plain cardstock except the base is from my scraps box. I have it at the side of me when I am crafting and I find I use it much more than I did before as I can see them all the time, it is my ‘go to’ box now and I always try to use some scraps if at all possible J

To finish the card off I have used a sentiment recycled from an old greetings card, some Prima flowers, buttons and gems recycled from an old t-shirt.

For my girly card I chose to work with this fab design, Chloes Ballet Lesson by Lil Diva Stamps. The fabulous trim was in a blog candy prize and was the starting point for this very pink and girly card.

I coloured the gorgeous image win with Promarkers & Flexmarkers adding lots of stickles glue as an accent on the darker pink. The floral backing paper is from the new Boofle pack from Papermania and I have added some gold stickles to the centres. I used the latest sketch from Paper & Such Design for the layout and added a circle sentiment from Craftwork Cards to finish it off.
