It was Choccy’s turn to choose an image this week
and we are using a great paper and image combo pack from Coosty
Creations called Starship.
You get 4 coloured digi papers and an image to colour in for only $3. This is
the same cost as most stamps on their own so basically you get the papers free!
How sweet is that?
My Brother in law is a Sci-Fi geek and I just knew
this would make a fabulous birthday card for him. Obviously the spaceship makes
you think of Star Trek straight away so I wanted to find a free font that was
similar. I even found a dingbat font which had the insignia on it. The links are
below and they are personal use only fonts All of these elements I positioned
onto the background paper and printed it out onto glossy photo paper. The colours
really are amazing and very crisp. I mounted this onto some silver paper form
my stash and then onto a sheet of A4 card for the base layer.
The digi was printed out on my normal paper and
coloured in with Promarkers in various shades of grey. This was fussy cut and
mounted onto 3d foam pads.
It’s not Chris’ birthday until December so look at me
being so organised already…. Of course I probably won’t be able to find it when
I need it though LOL

Awesome Mandy, love how you have used the digi pack. Thank you for making such a fab card with the Coosty Creations pack, it is so much fun to see how folks use them :) Hope your brother in law like it (well I know he will if for no other reason that you made it specially for him :) Hugs Jane xxxx
