I made my card this week with a combo pack called In
the Meadow We Can Build a Snowman from Reece’s
Scrap Pieces which has the digi image, a coloured image and 5 different
patterned papers in a blue and purple colour palette.
I selected the snowman paper and the marble blue one and then coloured
the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers to match. One of the papers has the
repeating phrase on it so I isolated one to print out for the sentiment. I used
a punch on the blue paper and matted the image on some scrap navy blue card and
mounted with 3d foam. The sentiment has been cut with a Quickcutz die, mounted
onto the dark blue and raised on foam pads. I used some stickles glitter glue
on the snowflakes and snowdrifts and around the sentiment panel.
This is the last challenge for the year and we will be back again with challenge
#94 on January 1st 2012 however, if you are up for it there will be
a mini challenge on Christmas Day so you can pop on over and see us if you
fancy a challenge after stuffing yourself full of lovely Christmas goodies.
