Debby has given us the opportunity to link up our favourite 5 Christmas cards of 2012. I missed out on the draw for the prize but as it it New Years Eve it felt appropriate to have a 'year in review' anyway
My absolute favourite is this one made using a digi from Delicious Doodles. I gave it to my Father in Law who very rarely comments on his handmade cards but said he really liked this one. My original post is here for more details.
This saucy little number I made for my husband. It is not a Christmas image but felt it could be if coloured up appropriately. My original post is here for more details.
Through making this card I did some research on the Nutcracker ended up going to my first ballet performance which was a fantastic experience. Who knew cardmaking could lead to such delights? My original post is here for more details.
Technically this is the one I am most proud of as it had so may layers and was very fiddly. I was just so glad my idea came into fruition. My original post is here for more details.
I loves little snowmen so this one really had to feature :) My original post is here for more details.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I wish each and every one of you a very Happy New Year with Good Health, Happiness, Love and Laughter for 2013 and always.

Oh Mandy, I was so saddened to hear of the death in your family. I hope that while untangling all of the issues that he left behind, your husband can also remember the good memories he has of his uncle. however difficult it is, it certainly reminds us we are not guaranteed a single moment and need to live life accordingly.
I wish you much luck, discovery and success as you travel down the path the leads into the new year.
I really like all the Christmas cards you laid out as your fave5 but have to admit that my favourite was the one you made for your father-in-law too. I love the simple nature of the design and your colouring is superb. I have signed up to follow you by email so I don't miss any more posts. However, given that I'm about 700 emails behind in catching up on my favourite blogs, it might be awhile before I actually coming over to check them out and leave some love. ;-)
All the best to you and your husband and I hope that the pain over his loss eases up a little soon.
Hugs,
Lisa
Great choices, Mandy. x
