As today is Easter Sunday for this Spring challenge I thought it would be lovely to showcase some fabulous papers Easter Morning 2 from Panda Bear Designs with this gorgeous image Easter Bouquet from Stitchy Stamps.

 I decided which papers I wanted to use, I loved the green bordered one and thought it would frame the pink marbled very well. I used a dark green sheet of A4 paper for the base, layered the green paper on it and used a new Nestabilities die for the pink paper. It has such a pretty feminine border and suited the soft pink paper and this delicate card.

Using the colours of spring I shaded the image with it’s pretty flowers with my Promarkers & Flexmarkers adding some glitter pens by Sakura and gems to the small flower centres. The whole image was cut out and mounted onto thin 3d foam squares. It was very fiddly to cut out but this enabled me to curl the ends of the grass and add more texture so I feel it was worth it.

Finally the sentiment is from Bits N Bobs. This has been cut out with a Nestabilities die and I have used some rub on wax to highlight the edges and embossed border.

Well today is a beautiful Spring Day in the UK, The clocks have gone forward and it is Easter Sunday. I shall be visiting a farm, communing with Nature, seeing lots of baby animals and possibly bottle feeding some lambs. Have a fabulous Easter everyone, hope you get to spend some quality time with your loved ones.
