Daisy Doodles Candles CDAC

This gorgeous image is one of the freebies included in round 6 which is the final round of Series 1 of the Progressive Challenge at the CDAC. This image is Candles and is by Daisy Doodles and as a member of both the CDAC and Daisy DT’s I just had to have a play with it didn’t I?

I coloured my image in with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and added a second

 layer of the holly and berries mounted onto 3d foam. The circle behind the image is embossed card from Craftwork Cards which has been inked with Distress inks and a duster brush to produce a glow around the candles. I have added Stickles glitter glue all around the edge of this section.

The scalloped edge card has a layer of green card from my scraps box and on top of this is a gorgeous glittered cardstock from the Dovecraft First Edition Pad Christmas Joy. Every single holly leaf is glittered and it’s just a bit gorgeous J

For a finishing touch I added some Crystal effects to the berries and veins on the leaves and the decorations on the candles for an extra shine. I felt a sentiment would spoil the cleanliness of the card so left one off.
