This week I had the pleasure of working with a paper pack from Panda BearDesigns called Chocolate Valentine 2. I was particularly drawn to the colours of pink & brown and the swirly paper. I used an image called Sweet Treats by Stitchy Stamps and used the papers to create a paper pieced image. This is not something I tend to do very often but it is really effective and I think it works really well with this project.

I coloured the top of the cupcakes with Promarkers and added some glossy accents all over it to to make it look like a shiny glaze. All the papers are printed out onto photo paper and they are crisp and were fab to work with. It was simple a case of cutting out all the elements and assembling them on the image. I used Promarkers to colour the base of the stand and the edge so it gave better definition to stand and then mounted the whole image with 3d foam pads.
