TSC Becca Boo

The Stamping Chef is having a competition on their Facebook page TSC Recipes.

You email for the image, which is this case is the little cutie pie Becca Boo, you upload a card in the folder, you get lots of lovely comments from some very nice people and the chance to win a free image. If you ask for the freebie you MUST make a card with it though or you will not be allowed to get freebies again, it’s only fair J

Now when I saw this little face, it immediately reminded me of my Niece Becky, she has the same proud look to her face when she is pleased with herself and you just know she is chuffed to bits with the little flower she has grown!

I coloured the image in lovely bright colours with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I used the latest sketch from I {Heart} Card Sketches for the layout and am proud to say that every single paper used is an offcut. The flowery, orange and green used for the mat is by DCWV. The stripy green Dovecraft and the red is a scrap of card from my box.

I cut the mat out with a die and then used an ink pad the distress the edges a little and draw your eye towards Becca. I cut her out and used 3d foam to lift the image. The little flower was stuck down directly but I did decoupage the flower head. I added a couple of glittery butterfly stickers and mounted the panel onto 1mm thick foam pads.

I tied some red and white twine around the card, added a sentiment banner, Prima flowers and some pearl and gem centres and consider her done.

It is very very cold in the UK at the moment although we have had some lovely sunshine for the last couple of days it is bitterly cold so these lovely warm colours are the perfect antidote. Some people have been reporting snow flurries so I am hoping they won’t head this way as there is still so much snow on the ground from the last lot…..

Materials Used in this card are as follows:-
Card Size – 6” Square
Image – Becca Boo by The Stamping Chef

Tools - Letraset Promarkers & Flexmarkers, Nellie Snellen die, 3d foam
Embellishments – Prima flowers, bakers twine, gems & pearl from Dovecraft, butterfly stickers

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges (in Alphabetical Order):-
