My goodness, how fast does a year fly by? It only seems like 2 minutes since we attended the wedding of the daughter of a very good friend. My hubby and her chap did the photos, I was the assistant, saved the day when the flowers came off the headband just before the ceremony and video'd the wedding in the registry office.
I also saved one of the corks and some of the table confetti with the plan of incorporating them into this card for their 1st wedding anniversary.
I started with a red and cream colour scheme which was the same as the wedding. I punched the edges of a piece if card with my Martha Stewart heart punch.
The champagne bottle and glasses are a rubber stamp, embossed with gold embossing powder and coloured with Twinkling H20's. They came from a friend who embossed a load onto a sheet for me some years ago and have come in very handy on several occasions. I added the 1st with a Sharpie pen. The champagne cork I sliced with a craft knife so it was about 1cm deep and added the confetti to fill the background. The sentiment banner is from my stash and I matted it onto red cardstock to provide a contrast to the background.
