I love Julie’s fun designs and I am sure we are a marriage made in heaven as they suit my bright and colourful cardmaking style.

We have a new challenge today which is in honour of Canadian Thanksgiving. We would like you to use Autumn or Fall colours or you can make a Thankyou card.

For my card I chose this gorgeous Flower Vase.  If you would like to own this very versatile design you can pop over to Daisy Doodles store and it can be yours for only $2

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The green leaves are in my new favourite green Chartreuse. I have used yellow, orange & red for the flower colours and added gems and stickles glitter glue. The flower pot I am most proud of. Quite by accident I created an aged look to the terracotta pot by using a base of terracotta Promarker then flooding it with the watermelon Flexmaker. It made it go a bit streaky and the brown a more pinky hue. I will probably never be able to recreate the effect but it looks fab on this card.

I used a sketch at Dutch Dare and  have made a large card at 8” square. This gave me the opportunity to use one of the larger patterned papers from My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow pack. I added some semi sheer gorgeous red ribbon and a matching sentiment tag with a small brad.
