Happileigh Scrappin' #36

We have a new challenge today over at Happileigh Scrappin' Challenges which is is to make a card featuring a Girl.

There are so many girl images out there and I hope you will see that Leigh has a great selection in the

Happileigh Scrappin' store as showcased by the Happi Sisters :)

For my Card I have used Jenny on Swing

I have made a centre step card using a tutorial at Top Tip Tuesday (thanks guys!!) I have wanted to have a go at one for a while and this image felt perfect for it. My fave colour scheme is pink and brown so I coloured the image with Promarkers to suit. I used the bright pink cardstock for the base and cut it as per the instructions. I don't have a scoreboard the same so approximated the measurements and I am happy with the proportions. The side panels are 2" wide each and that left a fair sized area in the middle for the image.

I am prod to say that the patterned paper, pink cardstock for the punched trim and brown cardstock for the matting on the image are all snippets so Jules will be pleased :)

I have used a gorgeous velvet ribbon for the bottom and layered some cardstock stickers together from Doodlebug with a pink gem in the centre.
