Recent Challenge Successes

My goodness I have been so fortunate over the last few days to win 5 challenges and all with the same 2 projects.

For my Love Ya Cupcake

• I was picked at Random by Scrapbook Sisters and go into a draw at the end of June
• At Frosted Designs chosen to be the winner with a £20 gift certificate at Your Memories Here

For My Forever Friends Envelope Bag

• Chosen at 2 Sisters Challenge to be the winner with a £10 voucher for One Stop Crafts
• Get Creative with Ann is sending me some goodies, won by default as I was the only entrant
• Digi's With Attitude chosen at random to receive a $10 voucher for their digis.

I honestly can't believe my luck. I have entered challenges for so long with little success and right at the time when I need the confidence boost I am getting it. At a time when I've got no income the free crafty goodies are pretty fab too :) I am really enjoying throwing myself into my crafting and it is great therapy for me at the moment.

I've got some good news to tell you tomorrow but I've got to keep it secret until then........

A couple of prizes

I have won a couple of prizes over the last few days for Valentines cards that I have made.

I was voted as a Top 3 over at AI Factory for my CS Designs Swirly Heart card and have got a blinkie for my blog.

Iris at Iris's Spot chose my Love Ya Cupcake card to be the winner of her challenge and I have bagged myself $15 worth of Wink Wink Ink digis, cool :)

Paul took my spare valentines cards to work and sold some for me so I bought a couple of bits at The Range on Saturday so I am a happy girl :)

Recent Challenge Successes

I have again been very lucky over the last week and have won recognition for 3 of my cards

At Mark's Finest Papers I have won a Speedy the Cat's Friend challenge and have a prize of some rubber stamps on it's way from the USA, how exciting. This was for the Card I did using a Happileigh Scrappin' Digi for my DT card for challenge #7.

I have placed in the top 3 at Delicious Doodles for my lovely orange card using Happileigh Scrappin's Stitched Bouquet and last but not least a top 3 at Creative Cowgirls for my Friends Make Christmas Very Merry card.

No prizes for the last 2 but lovely blinkies to wear on my blog with pride and a massive confidence boost. No doubt this will please me councillor when I go see her tomorrow to pour out my troubles.

Challenge Winner at Let's Craft and Create :)

The lovely Mandy at Let's Craft and Create has contacted me to give me the good news that I was the winner of challenge #10 with my Glitterbabe Rose Bouquet

The prize is a selection of gorgeous embellishments which I am really looking forward to having a lay with. There are some lovely butterflies, heart themed toppers, crocheted flowers and doilies so a really nice selection of goodies.

With this run of good luck recently I think I should put my lottery number on, you never know do you? It's amazing how I am winning these items at a time when I'm out of work so can't really go buying new stash (having said that I did get 3 lovely paper pads from the Crafty Cow that arrived today, shhhh don't tell Paul LOL. They were 25% off so a bit of a bargain and they are soooo pretty, they've got glitter on and everything)

Blog Hop Winner at Sassy Studio Designs

My sciatica is playing up at the moment and I'm not getting much sleep so I'm making the most of it when I drop off. Had a little nap for a couple of hours this morning and imagine my surprise when I checked my email on my Iphone and I've won the prize in the Sassy Studio Designs blog hop that I took part in a couple of days ago.

I can't believe my luck lately. I've won more challenges and blog hops in the last couple of months than I have in the whole time I have been entering challenges :)

Digi's With Attitude Challenge Winner

Woohoo, just found out I have won challenge #12 over at Digi's With Attitude for my 1st Christmas card of the year A Merry Little Christmas.

I have won a $10 gift certificate and a lovely little badge for my blog which I will wear with pride.

Very well done also to my mate Jacki for getting the Honourable Mention for her card. We are both winners Wayhay :)

Winner at Stamp n Doodle

I was delighted to discover that I had won the last challenge over at Stamp N Doodle with my Glitterbabe Rose Bouquet and my prize was a free image of my choice from the Stamp N Doodle shop. I have been truly amazed by my good fortune :)

I'm a Ginger Gem !!

Oooh, OOh ooh I am so excited !! I have made it as a Ginger Gem with my Little Birdie card. There are so many wonderful projects that have been chosen to be featured I honestly cannot believe they chose mine and it was for the glitter challenge, so me :)

I am definitely wearing my badge with pride on this one. I always wanted to be ginger, unfortunately it's always had to be out of a bottle until now.

Top 3 at Aly's Sunday Challenge #32

I am well chuffed. I have found out this evening I was selected as one of the Top 3 for my cross stitched Fabric Box over at Aly's Sunday Challenge.

Considering there were 364 entries I am amazed by this and very proud to display by flashing blinkie :)

Challenge Wins :)

Having been away for a few days I have been playing catch up with the challenge blogs and have had a great start to the New Year

On StampitCrazy I won a lovely digital image of a Snowman for my Little Birdie card. It's such a shame as they only had 5 entries so they awarded a prize to each one. Maybe not the best way to win a prize.

At Studio 313 the random generator thingie chose me and I have won $25 worth of digi images from MC5 range, just need to choose my lovelies :) . This was for one of my fave blingy Christmas Cards Let It Snow

And then to top it all off I was chosen as a Top 3 at The Crafty Pad for my cross stitched Fabric Covered Box. Our friend Sue absolutely loved it and winning a badge is just the icing on the cake.

Stampin With The Dragon #16 Winner

OMG, I have just been going through my email and there was a Google Alert and my name had popped up on Stampin With The Dragon. I have just found out I was picked by random.org as the winner of Challenge #16 with my Little Birdie card and have won 5 digi images.

Considering so many people have been entering the challenges lately with so many amazing Christmas projects I really cannot believe how lucky I have been.

I Won at Pattie's Creations

Oh wow, I had some amazing news last night from Theresa who is on the DT at Pattie's Creations. I had a cryptic message on CDAC to go check Pattie's Challenge blog and found out I had won last week's challenge for my Candle Box.

My prize was $10 worth of digital stamps from her Etsy store. I have chosen some smashing designs, 3 Christmas ones, a piggy bank and some lovely daisies. I ham having the most amazing luck lately and can't quite believe it. I feel like Christmas has come early. More importantly though, the boost it has given me in my self confidence is the greatest thing. The way I have felt recently it is something money just cannot buy but clearly crafty achievements can :)

Well it's now Christmas Eve, if it's not done or bought by now then it isn't going to be. Paul and I exchanged cards last night, I am glad to say he loved my owls card, he said he thought it was my best ever.

He is still at work today but will hopefully be finishing early. We are going to meet his Sister at the German Market in Birmingham later and have a bit of fun before the main event. Just got one more Christmas card to finish off and then I'm officially done........ I'll be back later :)

2nd Place at Happileigh Scrappin'

Woohoo, I have just found out today that I won 2nd place in the challenge I entered at Happileigh Scrappin.

My prize is 2 of Leigh's digi images of my choice and I get a special blinkie for my blog.

There is challenge #3 on the blog at the moment with another lovely freebie and if you become a member of the Crafters Digital Art Center (CDAC) Leigh has got a group and has just given away another freebie. If you are not already a member I would urge anyone who uses digis to become one as it is a great community with so many wonderful freebies.

Cards for Men Bloghop Winner

Woohoo, I am absolutely delighted that I was the winner of the main prize at the recent Bloghop over at Cards For Men.

My prize is over £40 worth of Dovecraft goodies which the lovely Donna has posted out and should be delivered between Christmas and New Year. It will be like having an extra crafty Christmas gift.

I very rarely enter bloghops for the sake of it as there are so many people who enter and the odds of winning prizes seems quite low, however, if it is support a blog/group I am particularly a fan of I will to help support them and all the hard work they do for us. That makes winning all the more special.

Top 3 at Scrap Creations

Gooodness only knows how I missed this last week on my challenge hunt but I have found out this morning that the Forever Friends Candle I made for my MIL has earned me a top 3 at Scrap Creations challenge.

I really am so pleased when my projects get chosen for things like this as it gives me so much confidence knowing it wasn't just a random draw thing but was actually picked out from amongst the other entries. When you see so many amazing creations entered into these challenges I honestly don't think I stand a chance against them and to know that I stood out makes me feel like I am on cloud 9.

Moving Along With The Times Top 3

I'm just having a mooch around the challenge blogs to update my spreadsheet and have had the wonderful news that Moving Along with the Times have awarded me a top 3 place for the birthday card I made for Paul.

Yippee, it's been a great crafty week for me and to top it all I have ordered all my missing Promarkers for my Christmas present off Paul :)

AI Factory Challenge #59 Winner

Woohoo, I have discovered today that I won the challenge at AI factory for my Let It Snow card. The lovely Tammy has contacted me and I am now the proud owner of 3 digi stamps and a blinkie for my blog :)

This has been a great confidence boost and I do hope my newly returned crafty mojo stops around for a while.

Pile It On Sweet Sprinkles Award

OMG, I've just found out I've won another award for the Happy New Year card I made.

Dalis from the Pile It On challenge blog had left me a message congratulating me on winning a Sweet Sprinkles award.

I am really chuffed as again this was another card that had been chosen as opposed to a random number generator thing.

I can't even begin to tell you how much confidence this has given me and I am so pleased that I have tried to do something different and my hard work has paid off.

Practical Scrappers Challenge Winner

I've had some fabulous news this morning.

I've just been to visit the Practical Scrappers blog and have found out I am one of the winners of the bling challenge and I get a blinky to display on my blog.

Although there is no prize, this is really special to me as it's not a random generator thing, it has actually been chosen and for someone like me who never thinks that my cards are as good as other people make this is a major confidence boost.

I've just been mooching around the blogs and updating my challenge list and I've just found out I've won a prize!

I've got no idea what it will be, but I've won a bonus prize from the Blog hop that Charisma Cardz challenges ran last week where I entered my baby card in for their Celebration theme.
