This week I am using a fabulous image from Ike’s Art called Angel.  I very rarely use images like this but felt very drawn to the serenity of this figure. I kept the colour palette very simple in shades of gold as I knew I wanted to use the ribbon which came from a box of Thornton chocolates that I had as a gift a few years ago.

The image is coloured with Promarkers and I added some stickles glitter glue to the wings and then used a Nestabilities label die to cut it out.

The base card has been covered with the remainder of a sheet of Kanban embossed metallic paper. It has a gorgeous irridescent sheen and the positioning of the scrolls framed the image very well. The sentiment is a fab freebie, details as below and had been cut out using a Quickutz cookie cutter die.
