I went to a Stampin’ Up Workshop which My friend Oona
runs in Arnold, Nottingham. You get loads of materials and can then make extra
cards at home. In the true spirit of making life easier for myself as the big
day arrives I am aiming to make at least 2 cards a Month. Lisa at Decosse’s
Dynamite Doodles runs a 12 Months of Christmas Challenge and you get some
lovely digi papers if you link at least 2 cards a month so this is my dangling
carrot to give me the extra incentive J
This card uses 2 trees stamped using 2 different
designs from the ‘Trees’ Rubber stamp set. The centre one was one of my only successful
attempts at lining up the matching punch. I decided y patience was wearing thin
and my sanity was more important that a scalloped edge so the rest are cut with
scissors LOL
I used a white base with a strip of paper I had
leftover. This is matted onto some of the coloured cardstock that was left.
I added a gold bow on the centre tree, some clear
gems and a gold peel off sentiment, all from my stash. This is a variation of
style on a card I made at the workshop but I never make 2 cards the same so the
colours and materials used are different.
Materials Used in this Project are as
follows:-
Card size – A6
Stamped Image – Stampin’ Up Trees
Rubber Stamps
Paper - Stampin’ Up Winter Frost
Sentiment – Gold Peel off Sticker
