WOYWW #126

It's WOYWW  and time to have a nosey at what is on YOUR desk. Come and have a nosey at all the crafters who have joined us over at Julia's Stamping Ground.

After a whirlwind few days of shopping, cleaning, cooking and entertaining a guest last night this morning I have the dentist again. I was scheduled to go today for the rest of the my root canal but disaster struck on Monday when half of the tooth just fell out. There I was minding my own business and cleaning the windows and my mouth just felt funny and half the tooth literally had popped out with the temporary packing. I guess that will be another tooth out now :(

Anyhoo, knowing I will feel like crap this afternoon after definitely having one tooth out (and now possibly 2) I have printed some digi's out ready to colour in. I have a magazine open on my desk as I would like to have a go at the star shaped card, it looks so cool. We have the latest edition of Lets Make Cards. I took out the subscription at the NEC as it was a good offer but I need to cancel it as I don't even look at the magazine and just take the kits apart so it's a waste really. The envelope of felt pieces that was a freebie with Papercrafts Inspirations was a bit of a nightmare. It said in the magazine to use a nice sharp pair of scissors to snip them away from the backing sheet but I had to almost completely cut mine out as if they hadn't been die cut properly. I did them whilst I was watching the F1 race at the weekend as it was really boring this week. I love my F1 but I knew Lewis Hamilton wouldn't do very well with a 3 place grid penalty and it was a brand new track in India that wasn't terribly exciting.

I have my Polkadoodles rubber stamps which I want to use with the scraps of blue card I have out from a card I made recently and I have my Bakers Twine which need to be put away. I have a couple of DT cards I want to make and get out of the way as I'm going to the NEC on Friday to spend my birthday pennies and hopefully meet up with a crafty buddy :) I've got some items on my wish list and  will probably end up buying some stuff I don't really NEED lol....

I have already popped over to visit some desks and am planning to visit some more later. Wishing you all a happy WOYWW and that your crafty Mojo is in the house and coming out to play.

Thanks for visiting. Byeeeeee xxx

p.s. Update on my tooshie pegs... dentist managed to save the tooth that had broken with a temporary think that could last me 3 or 4 years and she decided not to take my tooth out today but then it broke later anyway.... oh well !!

Gosh hope all goes ok at the dentist, looks like you are well prepared. It is hard with magazine subscriptions you can save some off the buying price but then if you are not interested in half the contents you wouldn't have picked it up in the shops in the first place LOL!

Hope you enjoy the NEC I am off there tomorrow - promise to leave some stuff ;)

I have long given up on mags over here except for Craft Stamper and Stampington! But this week I found Molllie Makes...so.
Hope all goes well and enjoy the NEC...

Hope your visit to the dentist is not as bad as you fear, and you can enjoy sitting crafting afterwards. Thank you for your visit and I will probably post the recipe for the cheese scones later today for anyone who would like it. If you want to come to tea, you are very welcome.

Bet it stays at only one tooth - but anyway, good luck! You're doing really well.
Magazines are a tough one to choose and I'm terrible about reading them, so now I have NONE! Saves me a lot of money actually, although I buy one occasionally because I feel I might be missing out!

Ouch! Sounds like you are in good hands for your teeth. Seems like she is looking out for you. When it is all over you will be so happy.
I wish my desk was so clean today. It was when I started but I have been up to something today. I was hoping to find a challenge to enter it in but I don't think I can wait. LOL.

YES! I definitely need to put my BoBunny Christmas papers to work - I often buy BoBunny and as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted them for my "special" cards this year - then I got them home and lost any inspiration I had. Am awaiting its return but it had better hurry up! X

Oh Mandy, sorry to hear about your dental problems, but glad he didn't take the tooth out. I am a dental phobic and the very idea fills be with dread!! We went the other day for our 6-mth check up and I was fine - he said there are a couple of teeth he's keeping an eye on but nothing needs doing atm which is good. Phew. What a relief.

Love your pink star - that should make a fun card! Thanks for your lovely and understanding comment on my blog. A lot of people simply don't understand about M.E., and the worst of them "think they do understand about it" when they don't, which is even worse lol!! My session was awesome this a.m. - such a fabulous group and so welcoming, and we all had such fun! Best thing is, they want me back again! I am very thrilled about the whole thing!

Happy WOYWW, Shoshi #67

All that too-ing and fro-ing to the dentist sounds painful, I hate having my teeth worked on! Hope the crafting helped!
