Imagine That #7 Party Animals

It’s time for Challenge #7 at Imagine That! Digis by Kris and if you took part in the last challenge you will have received the Party Animals pack which has this super image of Skipper & Munchkin with several options of message in the balloon, a blank one and extra sentiments. If you didn’t take part then don’t panic because you can buy the full set for only $2.50 which is fabulous value for just one image on it’s own!

Pop over to the store to see this image and all the other amazing sets. This set is available as a coloured option and there are some fabulous digi paper packs too so lots to choose from.

Regular listeners will know that I am not particularly adept at making cards for the male species. I much prefer pretty flowers, papers, glitter and cutesy images so I declared this particular image perfect for a male’s card. I coloured the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers using browns and greens as I knew it would be perfect with my Basic Grey Archaic papers. I added some swirls to the tortoise with a fine tipped pen and opted for the Hoppy Birthday balloon image.

The layout is from a sketch at Sketch Saturday and I was struggling a bit with what to do for the 2 lines at the top right when inspiration struck and I thought I could use a couple of ribbon loops tied to the Nestabilities die. Finally I added the ‘Party’ peel off sentiment coloured with black marker onto a scrap of card.

I do hope you will join in with our challenge. Progressive freebies are so much fun and a great way up building up your digi collection too. Pop over to our blog and see what the rest of the DT have made for our first proper outing. They are very inspiring and you won’t be disappointed J
